Come with me.... down to the bottom of Hazel Hill...
past the pumpkins...
over the bridge.....
Oh look... there is Pumpinella bringing her best pumpkin cake to the party...
Let's glance through the window....Gertie has been busy baking sweets and cakes...
Even the dragons and owls are joining in the fun....
Through the door and everyone is here.....
There is Pumpinella, Mischievous Maddy, Hubbywitch and Aunt Agatha all joining Gertie in the fun....
Now Pumpinella has been given the very important job of holding the bowl with all the Giveaway names...
and Mischievous Maddy is pulling the name out for the draw....
and the winner is ......
Dark Squirrel Victoria :0)
and because Maddy is very mischievous indeed, she reckoned 269 followers was close enough to 275 so she pulled out a second name for a smaller prize.....
and that is ...
Jane at Witchery Grove :0)
Congratulations to Victoria for winning the main giveaway of the little sampler and congratulations to Jane for winning the 'extra' draw, I will send you a little surprise something.
Please could both of you email me with your addresses. Thank you to everybody who joined in and left comments, I had heaps of entries and our little Meg had fun pulling the name out and yes, she is the real mischievous one who said there had to be two names drawn! LOL
So, let's leave the girls to their party food now...
and pop over to see what the boys are up to at Wizards and Wands...
Hmnn... as I thought, they are about to tuck into my Spidey cake!
Now I'm off over to Kat's to see everyone else's Halloween online parties :0)
Happy Halloween to you all
Thank you for coming, I hope you have enjoyed our week of Halloween :0)

Halloween Post 1 ~ Making spooky stained glass for Gertie
I bought this outliner sheet at Hobbeycraft and because its a wet, miserable day today, I thought I would give them a go.
I used them for the windows in Gertie's cottage and used my glass paint to fill them in. For a couple of pound for the sheet, I think they are a bargain and they turned out ok :)
The outline goes on...
and then I added a touch of glass paint...
Bats on the windows :)
So, that's part of what I have been doing this morning....
.....the other thing I have been doing is taking a photograph for my giveaway... yep... I am thrilled, we now have 250 followers, so as promised I will be holding a giveaway.
I will do the Giveaway blog post after this one with all the details on how to enter :)

Gertie's Little Industrious Cottage Part 4 ~ the potion greenhouse and farewell Gertie
So into the potion greenhouse we go......
to look at Gertie's benches of pots, magical plants and potion bottles....
There are all sorts of half made potions here.... and could that be some big green toes I can see on the side? ......
Oh dear Gertie! Not another spell gone wrong, you've turned your little helper into another big, green dragon and he looks well fed up!! ......
..... sprawled out on the bench, waiting for a reversal potion....none here though....
maybe the little green goblin would help... if he would stop eating all those raspberries....
or maybe the answer is in the book of potions....
Well, we should be leaving now... before it gets late.... Gertie is already fast asleep in her chair... again....
Come on, we'll use the Potion Greenhouse doors...we don't want to disturb Gertie.....
Quietly now, close the doors behind you...
and wave goodbye to the green dragon as we pass, a smile may cheer him up a little bit!!
It didn't?
Oh well, go quietly past his brother then, we had better not disturb him too....
A final wave goodbye to the dragon in the window....
and a sad glance back ......
it's time to say goodbye to Gertie's little cottage......
Until October 31st that is, for Gertie is having a party for Kat's Halloween House Party.....
See you then ;0)

Gertie's Little Industrious Cottage Part 3 ~ Where's the stairs?
Nope, the little dragon didn't pull the cotton down... he knows the big black witch is looking down at him ....or is it the owls that are making him behave?
So he is just sitting there, looking up at Gertie's bedroom and playing guess which broomstick Gertie will use to go upstairs tonight?
When it starts to get dark....
'Cos Gertie has no room in her little cottage for stairs, so she has to use one of her broomsticks....
To go to upstairs.....
Where she dries her herbs.....
stores her maps....
practices some spells....
and reads in bed :0)
Gertie is a tidy witch though, no messy washing piles here!!
so back down we go.... time to look in the potion greenhouse now....
or maybe we'll do that tomorrow....

Gertie's Little Industrious Cottage Part 2 ~ Come on In
and so the door opens......
Welcome in.....
Don't worry about those big teeth in the corner....
He doesn't bite... Gertie was trying out a handsome prince potion, do you think it worked??
I think he is probably looking in the potion cupboard for an 'undo the previous potion' potion!!
or maybe he has his eye on that wasp on the apple....
I think the Pumpkin soup and mushroom cupcakes look tastier....
but mind out for that big black spider on the bottom shelf...
So where is Gertie? Ah, there she is.....
Sitting in her favourite chair, by the Aga. I bet she is about to eat some of that pumpkin soup....
With another of her pet dragons at her feet....
who is enjoying the sun coming in through the window....
or... is he about to pull that piece of cotton hanging down from the dresser???
We'll have to wait and see untill tomorrow....
Credit today goes to....
