I have three new projects for 2012, but I must admit, I have had a slow start this year. Nothing seems to be working as planned, nothing I order online matches my colours and I am begining to think that there is a little someone telling me to take time out from my minis and have a rest!
I apologise for my lack of posts and tales of my new houses/shops, but I do promise to be back here in blogland as soon as my 'mojo' returns! ;0)
In the meantime, I will leave you with a photo of the very slow progress I have had on my turn of the century Bakers shop.
Back soon... hopefully

Never mind, Julia - take your time, we'll still be here when the mojo returns!
ReplyDeleteI like the shade of green you've used on the shop front. I'm a fan of green.
Julia! I know exactly how you feel, i have completly lost all enthusiasm and ideas, its terrible. Also it was getting me down that i dont have the money i need to complete projects and buy things for them as id like to! But,like you im going with it and concentrating on other things as i know in my heart i will get it back, maybe whe the sun shines? I was even tempted to sell lots more projects at one stage but im not going to be rash as id regret it later when the children are all gone and im looking for something to keep me sane!! So enjoy your break ! Xx
ReplyDeleteHope to see you here very soon!!!

I am also on a sabbatigo (sp?) from miniatures. My mojo has also disappeared. I have ideas, but no energy to get started. I hope my mojo returns soon!
ReplyDeleteHope your mojo returns, we all have that ones in a while. That is the nice part of this hobbie, it is not running away. Take your time. There is so much more in life then miniatures.
ReplyDeleteSee you later alligator.
Hugs
Maria
Love the photo of the house, Julia. I've just ended a mini sabbatical -- sometimes it just happens, eh? Look forward to reading more when you get back to it!
