What do you do when........

Your fed up,

bored,

missing all your mates in work?!!!

**************************************

Cook chicken soup and make a mood board of course :0)

Well, that's what I did anyway! Yes, today I am really fed up, I don't feel so great and I miss being in work (I will be off sick for the forseeable) So....

After the postman had been and brought me some lovely get well wishes from a fellow blogger, I decided to pick myself up, cook some chicken soup, (which is always guaranteed to make you feel better and the kiddiewinks love it ) and make a moodboard for the new Sid Cooke House which Hubby is building for me :0)

So, this is what I came up with....

I want the inside of the shop to be sage and dark greens and pumpkin orange, so I  looked in the paint cupboard for some paint for the walls and looked for some suitable furniture.....

I rooted around in my embroidary drawer for some nice coloured threads to stitch some cushions and maybe a rug......

popped in some more of my pumpkins!!!!

Then looked my 'treasures box' for favourite minis by fellow bloggers.....

And there it is... the colours are chosen, the threads are ready to be stitched and the pumpkin cocktail (at the back with the stripey straw) is ready to be sipped :0)

My mood board is done and I'm not fed up anymore :0)

  3. A wonderful colour combination and they all go so well together.

I love the chair, it looks so comfy! lol My wicthy hat maker would like a chair like that, not that she'll do much sitting! lol

    Take care, :o))

  7. I love the idea os a mood board for a project. I usually do it all in my head.
Your colour scheme is right up my street. Very William Morris and so restful.
    Hope everyone enjoys the soup.

  8. Excellent idea, Julia! I love the colour scheme :))
Seems like a mood board is 'chicken soup for the crafty soul'. . .

  9. I've never thought about a mood board for miniature projects but it does makes sense - and for me would save impulse buys and much dithering about! Thanks for the inspiration and I can't wait to see this house come to life.

  10. I've never thought of doing this before- how brilliant! I love the colors you have chosen- in fact...they are pretty much the colors in my living room :) I have a bit of burgundy and blue in there too- but my favorites are green and orange. It all looks so pretty together there on your board ♥
